(Genshin Impact) Giving Headpats to Furina, Lynette, Arlecchino, Chiori, Lumine, Jean, Eula, Noelle, Ayaka, Sara, Yae, Shenhe, and Xianyun

No one requested this, as for the reason this post exists, the only thing I can give you is this image:

Furina freezes up the moment she feels S/O's hand pick up her hat, only to ruffle her hair.

She squawks for just a moment, quickly blushing and pouting as Furina yanks her hat down.

(Furina) "D-Don't just start patting me out of nowhere!"

Crossing her arms, she looks away, trying to not look bothered about the whole affair.

She finds it highly embarrassing. At least in public.

The moment they're alone and she feels their hand, she closes her eyes and completely relaxes, humming in content.

There's still a blush on her, but it's far more subdued unless S/O starts teasing her about it.

Lynette does not like just anyone rubbing her head due to her cat-like features.

In public, the top of her head in general is completely off limits.

But if it's just her and S/O at home, then she allows it.

In fact, when S/O's hand starts petting her head, she leans into them completely as her eyes close, just like an actual cat.

Her ears twitch a little, but her tail swishes left and right happily.

If they stop too early, Lynette's eyes slowly open and looks at them expectantly.

(Lynette) "...Why did you stop?"

Feeling the warm of their hand allowed Lynette to rest comfortably, and to space out to her heart's content.

Arlecchino did the same thing to comfort many of the children at the Hearth.

Yet she didn't know what to do when S/O did the same, feeling her hair slightly ruffled.

If her S/O was taller (in which case "Dude, you look huge"), she really wouldn't comment on the height difference, but if they were shorter, THEN she'd be surprised they would even attempt it.

Arlecchino doesn't care if it's in private or public, but she would care if they did so in front of her kids.

Because then they'd see that she has someone that can make her comfortable too, which in turn makes them happy.

Seeing their father cared for puts them at ease, making Arlecchino thankful in her own way.

But as for the action itself: she would just talk to them in her usual tone, though with a bit of a "threat" lying underneath.

(Arlecchino) "Did you wish for me to pat your head too, S/O? I might be rougher with you than the others."

Chiori raises an eyerbrow.

(Chiori) "S/O, what are you doing?"

Once they explain themselves, Chiori can't help roll her eyes.

(Chiori) "Did you expect me to get all flustered from that? Psh, it'll take a little more than messing up my hair to do that. Speaking of which, can you fix it for me? I'm a little busy here."

She finds it cute, yeah, but it's not that big of a deal.

Plus, she finds it weird.

Who just goes around, patting their girlfriends' heads unprompted?

Oh well, it's not like this was particularly harmful, so Chiori lets it slide.

But if they do that in front of customers or in public, S/O is dead.

Lumine's body stiffens when S/O's hand ruffles her hair lovingly, before she quickly giggles.

(Lumine) "Hey, stand still!"

She quickly does the same back, though her retaliation is far more playful and destructive.

S/O's hair is an absolute mess now, Lumine giving a cheeky grin back.

(Lumine) "There, now you look better than before!"

It does not take long for the situation to quickly devolve into a tickle fight with both of them on the bed laughing.

Jean takes a moment to register what S/O is doing, but after a few seconds she smiles.

Jean lets her shoulders drop, feeling more at ease by the second.

So this is how Barbara and Klee felt when she did the same.

(Jean) "Your hand feels quite nice, S/O..."

She doesn't realize her own flushed cheeks as her vision becomes slightly hazed with her affection.

If anything, she feels a little sad everytime they pull back.

It was such a relaxing sensation, and honestly made her feel a little sleepy.

Eula's head feels a bit colder to the touch, but her body is rapidly heating up, especially her face.

(Eula) "What do you think you're doing, S/O?"

Hearing their answer, Eula pauses for a moment before responding.

(Eula) "Next time, you should ask for permission instead of rubbing my hair like I'm some sort of child...I don't recall asking you to stop either."

In classic Eula fashion, she doesn't tell them directly that she loves the feeling of their hands.

But she'd be damned if she was going to admit something so embarrassing.

Noelle feels a mixture of pride and embarrassment everytime S/O pats her on the head.

On one hand it felt quite nice, and the gesture was very sweet!

But it made her feel a little childish.

She never voiced her latter feelings aloud, because it still made her flustered all the same.

(Noelle) "A-Ah...Um, thank you, S/O...!"

It made her want to do her best everytime just so she could receive such affection, and made sure to do it back to them!

But with her strength, she accidentally completely dishevels their hair.

Before promptly fixing it in nearly an instant with her skills as a dutiful maid!

Ayaka exhales deeply, any words she had completely fading away in bliss.

These were the kinds of moments Ayaka longed for, to simply share affection with a lover of her own.

It made her feel quite normal as opposed to the prim and proper noblewoman she was forced to be.

(Ayaka) "If I may be selfish for a moment, might I ask for you to continue...?"

She'd be a little embarrassed asking for more, but her shame vanishes the moment she feels their hand on her head again.

Ayaka is too shy to initiate the headpatting on her own, most of the time having her hand almost reach her S/O's head before pulling away last second.

Sara flinches and leans away from S/O on instinct.

(Sara) "What are you-...M-My apologies, I was just not expecting you to..."

Her hand fidgets for a moment before Sara lets out a sigh.

(Sara) "If you wanted to touch my hair, you can just ask."

Now that she was actually ready for S/O, she enjoyed the feeling of their fingers brushing against her hair.

It was relaxing as she let down her guard and enjoyed the physical affection.

Needless to say, Sara absolutely did not want S/O to do this in public.

Seeing Inazuma's general get pat on the head so lovingly would obliterate her image.

Yae smirks as she leans her head closer to them, not saying a word at first.

Her ears twitch for just a moment as she opens her mouth to speak.

(Yae) "Well, does my hair feel nice, S/O?"

And before S/O knows it, her tail wrapped around their waist before bringing them closer and her the back of her head is resting on their lap.

Yae's hand waves nonchalantly, and her tone growing increasingly ever more teasing.

(Yae) "I expect to be pampered properly, S/O. You can't leave a job half-finished after all!"

Now, Yae expects S/O to tend to her hair, in public or private, she doesn't really care.

As long as there were some good reactions from S/O both was fine, though in public tended to provide the funniest result.

...Oh, and their hands did feel nice. But she'd figure it'd be more entertaining to let S/O figure that one out themselves.

Shenhe knows this feeling well.

Cloud Retainer did the same thing whenever she meant to comfort her.

And of course, the feeling is much of the same when S/O does it to her.

WIth zero shame or hesitation, she closes her eyes and the corners of her lips grow into some semblance of a smile.

(Shenhe) "Your hands are soft, S/O...They feel good."

Instead of leaning into them, she grabs their entire arm and has their hand stay stuck in place.

But Shenhe is careful enough to not hurt them during the process.

She opens her eyes and calmly asks them:

(Shenhe) "Can you keep your hand in place for a little longer?"

Xianyun had provided much of the same comfort to all her disciples before.

But never has anyone attempted to pat her head.

So when she feels S/O's hands do the same motion, she is stunned for a few moments.

Clearing her throat and adjusting her glasses, she puts on the best poker face she can.

(Xianyun) "W-Why did you feel the need to rub One's head, One is not feeling upset."

...The blush on her cheeks gave her feelings completely away, if the stutter didn't already do that.

Xianyun is far too proud to admit that headpat made her heart skip, and she would refuse to ever do so.

A mortal patting an Adeptus' head? Absolutely ridiculous!

...She wanted S/O to do that again.

Protecting the mountains and forests is the duty of the tengu. I've known the bake-danuki for a long time now.

They came here specially to celebrate my birthday. As a tengu, I must not forget my etiquette.

Hey!Hey! How are you doing? I hope well.

In any case, I can make the request with Ganyu, Sarah, Shenhe, Furina, Lynette and Arlecchino with a shy, kind and quiet Y/N taking a stance to defend them?

(Genshin Impact) Ganyu, Eula, Sara, Shenhe, Furina, Lynette, and Arlecchino's shy S/O defending them

Ganyu is speechless when she sees her S/O stepping in between the person she's speaking to.

(S/O) "Ganyu is always doing the best she can...! I don't see you putting even a single fraction of effort she always does!"

While she is surprised, her love for S/O goes up tenfold hearing them stand up for her. Especially knowing that they were just as shy as she was.

It inspires her to do the same, and takes their hand to excuse themselves.

Once they get out of the area, she gives such a warm smile to them.

(Ganyu) "Thank you for saying those things about me, S/O...Would you like to get dinner tonight, it's on me!"

Eula can't help but wince a little, seeing S/O step in to defend her.

She was used to this, and worst of all, this would paint a target on S/O's back as well, if dating her already didn't do that.

But at the same time, it made her heart swell hearing their words.

(S/O) "Who cares if she's a Lawrence! She's always fought for every single one of us in Mondstadt to keep it safe, including you! Don't...Don't treat her like that!"

Once she fights off her creeping blush, she takes S/O aside after the argument.

(Eula) "You didn't need to do that, but...thank you, S/O. Just don't get hurt because of me, got it?"

Sara is more impressed than anything that someone had the balls to even insult the General of the Tenryou Commission straight to her face.

And she continues to be when Sara steps in.

(S/O) "And what have you contributed to Inazuma? Sara would be the first one to defend the people, while you'd be doing nothing!-"

With how soft-spoken S/O was, she decides to step in so that way S/O doesn't let a vein burst in anger.

(Sara) "That is enough, S/O. Thank you."

Once they're in private, she can't help but smile.

(Sara) "S/O, about what happened back there...I have to say I'm impressed and...thanks."

Shenhe is resisting the urge to bash this person's head against the wall.

Not for insulting her, she was used to that, it was for doing this while she was on a date with S/O, and their time had to be wasted on this nonsense.

Before she could open her mouth and threaten them, S/O steps in.

(S/O) "She's not an adeptus. Shenhe is human, more than you are!"

Shenhe recoils ever so slightly at their words, moreso by the fact that S/O spoke less than her, and yet decided to interfere.

It also made Shenhe be that much more fond of S/O. They'd defend her, even though she didn't need it?

(Shenhe) "S/O, let us be off before I throw this man into the harbor."

And if they tried to insult S/O, then Adepti help them, because then she'd actually do violence to them.

Furina shrinks with every insult thrown her way by the person standing in their way.

At least, until S/O stepped in between them.

(S/O) "Shut up. Furina isn't even human, yet she'll always be a better person than whatever you'll turn out to be!"

Furina's mouth goes agape, she'd never thought that the S/O who would clam up at the presence of more than herself could say such a thing.

Doubly so when they spit at their feet and take her hand and drag Furina away.

Furina is blushing the entire time, trying to process what just happened.

(Furina) "That...was quite the performance S/O. And...u-um...thank you for defending me."

She is looking away, blushing madly as she thanks them.

Lynette really didn't care about the person calling her cold.

She was used to it, and it's not like they were wrong. She was busy tuning them out until S/O's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

(S/O) "If you're so adamant on her performing magic, I got one for you! Conjure yourself a bridge, AND JUMP OFF IT!"

Lynette's tail shoots straight up as her eyes go wide.

Okay, she didn't expect her S/O was even more quiet than her to ever say something like that.

Not that she had a complaint at all about it.

S/O and Lynette get some privacy, making her speak up.

(Lynette) "...I'd say you should say stuff like that more often, but that'll create more headaches for the two of us."

Arlecchino couldn't give less of a damn about what people said about her.

Which made her all the more surprised when S/O defended her from a stranger's rude words.

(S/O) "You call her hands creepy, but you haven't even looked in a mirror today!"

Oh? Now that got her attention.

She was under the impression that her S/O was like Freminet in terms of speaking to others.

Arlecchino doesn't even wait until they're out of earshot.

(Arlecchino) "My, I didn't know you had it in you, S/O. You should let that side out more often."

If that person wanted to interrupt her and S/O's conversation now, they'd answer to her instead.

S/O's defense truly wasn't needed, but the thought at least counts.

Ganyu, Kujou Sara and their babies - Ganyu & Kujou Sara x Male!Reader

A/N: Shorter than what I usually do, I know. Anyway, enjoy! CW: Parental fluff, little mention of the reader, the characters being monster girls.

Ganyu who shows her kids the richest pastures, high in the mountains of Jeyun Karst. They might be little cuties with barely budding horns, but they climb very well, keeping up with their mother as she ascends the easiest approaches - she wouldn’t want them to get hurt, even if their daddy is waiting with open arms, ready to catch them at the foot of the wall. When they reach the top, your wife always smiles as she sees her babies jump in excitement at the colourful field of bright, joyful Qingxin and Sweet Flowers, just waiting to be devoured. She trusts you to look after her and the younglings as they graze peacefully, lying amongst the lush grass as they nom down their flowers. While there’s no need to watch out for predators, Ganyu still feels safer with you on the lookout. Just don’t try to walk up on her - it’s very easy to spook her when she’s this vulnerable. 

She makes sure her little ones eat properly - as natural herbivores, Qilins eat only whole grain and drink only spring water, and Ganyu will make sure it’s the best variety. Of course, the babies get to enjoy water only from the very sources - you wouldn’t want them to take in any of the nasty things the river picks up along the way. Cloud Retainer already created fields of weather-resistant flowers for her daughters’ enjoyment, and she will continue caring for those so that even Ganyu’s grand-grand-grandchildren can graze upon them. But Ganyu knows that variety is important, so you’ll get to take your little goats to enjoy some rapsflowers right from the beautiful fields of Qingce Village. For centuries Qilin have been free to enjoy the crops as the people of Liyue see it as a sign of Adeptal blessing. And they’re not wrong - Xianyun will make sure the farmers get to enjoy the mildest of weathers and the greatest of harvests in return for their kindness. 

Kujou Sara who didn’t expect her hatchlings to be such a menace to society. When they were young, they were in constant need of attention - if left alone, they would quickly grow cold as they haven’t grown their feathers out just yet. And the squawking… It’s good that she was taken in by the humans at a later age, as just thinking about her adoptive father having to endure her begging for inexplicable amounts of food makes her flustered. Still, they were lovely to look at, snuggled into their parents. Later it would become the only moment when the nestlings would behave. Sara doesn’t remember being this rowdy and mischievous when she was young. The little Tengu are endlessly curious, hunting out every shiny and colorful object made by humans. They are always on the hunt for shinies to nick, be it from trash or from “unguarded” troves to offer them to their parents. It is adorable, but also disrupts the peace. But if the humans don’t seem to mind having their miscellaneous items and bits of food stolen by the General’s sons and daughters, blessings of the Youkai and all… It’s an acceptable practice. She might not have done it, but if it’s in their nature, she won’t try to restrict her offspring in the same way she was. 

Although not being able to fly herself after the crippling injury in her youth, Sara does remember a few things. How adorable the younglings are as they watch their mother spread her wings, admiration flickering in their little eyes! The first few attempts might be moderately successful at best, but Sara won’t mind - practice makes perfect, after all. In no time she will watch them soar the skies, her chest swelling with pride and love. And when they come down, their mother will preen them to make sure their wings are as beautiful and healthy as can be.
